Mindfulness Training – Arriving in the Present Moment

What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness means consciously and non-judgmentally perceiving what is happening in the present moment – with an open and kind attitude toward yourself and the world around you. Instead of running on autopilot or getting caught in worries about the future or regrets from the past, mindfulness helps us stay grounded in the here and now.

It is both a skill and a way of being that can be cultivated and deepened through regular practice.

How Can Mindfulness Help?

A growing body of scientific research shows that mindfulness has a powerful impact on mental well-being, stress reduction, and emotional regulation. In psychotherapy, mindfulness can be used to:

  • reduce anxiety and inner restlessness
  • alleviate symptoms of depression and burnout
  • interrupt rumination and overthinking
  • foster more compassionate relationships with yourself and others
  • develop self-compassion
  • increase awareness of personal needs and boundaries
  • create distance from overwhelming thoughts and emotions without suppressing them

Mindfulness is Not a Technique – It’s an Attitude

This isn’t about chasing a constant sense of well-being or “getting rid” of discomfort. Instead, it’s about learning to meet yourself with awareness, kindness, and acceptance. With time and patience, mindfulness can open the door to more peace, emotional resilience, and inner strength.

Mindfulness training is suitable for anyone seeking more calm, clarity, and vitality in their life. It can be especially supportive:
